She grew up in St Paul's and later moved to Newtown with her parents Beverley Campbell and Basil Greaves, who are both of Jamaican descent. She attended St Michael's on the Mount Primary School and Cotham Grammar School.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter working in the travel industry for 15 years Shani went back to school and studied a barbering diploma. She has a passion for writing poetry, aiming to help people with their mental health.
