Promoting the record-breaking steam from Liverpool to Australia, it's a reminder of the extraordinary feat of the SS Great Britain. With its bold, minimalist design, this poster makes a striking centrepiece and a great conversation starter.

In 1852, the SS Great Britain carried hundreds of emigrants in her first voyage from Liverpool to Melbourne. This would be the first of 32 round trips to Australia. Advertising posters such as these would have been an important source of information for people travelling in Victorian times.
